Restaurant Fenzl in Steinberg am See

Back after 6 weeks and my request was promptly taken to heart. Not only my room but all rooms got new quality mattresses A very nice, cozy hotel with a great breakfast.

Picked up lunch during partial lockdown. Process and hygiene concept implemented excellently. 2x sauerbraten was very good! Nice acidity and tender meat!

Nice hotel, room clean and big enough. Delicious breakfast. The fact that we were no longer wanted in the restaurant at 8:42 p.m. - the kitchen was closed, not even a small thing, I didn't think so much and gave at least 1 star deduction. The menu says 'warm meals until 9 p.m.'. I thought the gastronomy is doing so badly because of Corona ... The neighbor quickly turned over 160 euros.

Everything is good, everything is delicious. Highly recommend. Very good quality and what is very important to me -> a MAN is also full! Personal top!

We ate here with friends yesterday. We can only say who is on vacation in the region, or who, like us, is passing through, should definitely have an evening at the Gasthof Fenzl !!!! Everything was right, from the service, to the innkeeper, to the great outdoor terrace! 👌🏼☀️

Super tasty food for a reasonable price. Tried out as the first restaurant on site while on vacation and immediately impressed. Good home cooking, really tasty and without unnecessary ChiChi. We're definitely going back there. Roast pork with sauce and dumplings, meatloaf with noodles and sauce. Sensationally delicious. We recommend. Reservation recommended.

Great location where you can sit comfortably on the terrace and under the trees in summer. The card offers a spoiled for choice👍👍👍 that does not make the decision easy. Friendly and efficient service! Highly recommend this location!

Very nice and large terrace and look for very friendly and attentive wait staff, all dishes are very good and plentiful, so that you really get full and if you have something left over, you can of course take it away. The choice of drinks is also right. You feel good here and love to come back.

Was traveling on business, hotel was recommended to me. Unfortunately the hotel is located in a small village with no other gastronomic offers. To make matters worse, the kitchen was also closed on the day of arrival. Breakfast rather simple.

Were there with 10 people. Very tasty food, quick service. Special requests No problem. Great terrace. Lots of parking spaces available.

Was with the grandchildren on the terrace for lunch. We had reserved and that was a good thing. We were immediately offered a high chair for the youngest. Despite the full terrace, the table was served immediately and the drinks came in a few minutes. The meals came quickly, the staff were courteous and friendly.

Our favorite address during our vacation. The food is very tasty and the kitchen is very flexible with special requests (e.g. vegetarian dishes). It is also extremely cozy outside and inside. We recommend.

This is a nice clean restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. The food was just ok. I ordered the onion soup and unfortunately it was very salty. I also ordered the baked sheeps cheese and it was cold.

Stopped here for two nights while on work trip. The hosts are very friendly and there team as well the hotel is kept very clean and well presented with a lovely outdoor area to eat and drink. We ate here every night tee food was delicious all arriving at the same time which was very good considering there was 14 of us. I would happily recommend this place.

If you find this review helpful, please like it below. The Hotel Gasthof Fenzyl is a small boutique hotel located in Steinberg not far from Steinberg See. Rooms are cozy but comfortable. The restaurant onsite is fantastic, serving seasonal and local food. I stayed during white asparagus season and enjoyed the dinner immensely.

Nice, clean and quiet hotel. The restaurant is quite busy time to time as it is the parking lot. My favorite in the area!

Simple, comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent and friendly service, great food and one of the best wheat beers. Very close to wake boarding lake. Had a very enjoyable stay here.

Decent, clean and friendly budget family hotel with a good German restaurant. Rooms are pretty basic, no A/C, flat pillows, no laundry service. Breakfast very typical but good.
